Light
Series
The respected and exciting Scripture Union Light series is used
as the basis of the children’s worship and teaching.
Light is a creative discipleship tool that helps to equip people of all
ages to know Jesus Christ, to learn from God and to live boldly for him.
All resources are designed to work together across the age groups, with
everyone exploring the same biblical theme and often the same part of
the Bible. However, they have also been created with the specific needs
of each age group in mind.
The following age-related classes are offered at St Andrew’s:

Older children are invited to worship at the Evening Service.
Children are placed in these groups according to their age at the start
of the year and will move into new groups at the beginning of the
following year if necessary.
Children’s Church will continue throughout the year. During the school
holidays either the Light curriculum will continue or other fun
activities will be arranged.
Youth evenings targeting children between
the ages of 10 and 16 are held on Friday evenings at 19h00. The aim is
to offer a fun-filled evening of activities, where children can build
relationships within a safe environment. The short talk or discussion
aims to challenge the youth to explore the Christian Faith in a
practical way and relate it to their daily life.
