John 9:1-25 – The man born blind

  1. Many people today talk of Karma and people getting what they deserve – can we agree in light of this man’s blindness?
  2. “I am the light of the world” – where is God’s light in the world at the moment?
  3. Jesus healed on the Sabbath – what does this teach us about His concern for people and the rules and traditions of His day?
  4. I was blind but now I see – God offers this miracle to any who believe – and yet there is so much spiritual blindness around – can you think of times in your own life when you have been blind to God?
  5. The Pharisees didn’t want to accept that Jesus could heal blindness – how can we show Jesus to the world in such a way that they can see Him?
