Together with our Archbishop, the Clergy of the Diocese have agreed to a monthly day of fasting and prayer ahead of the international climate conference in Paris in December.
We would like you to join us!
As this concerns climate issues you want to explore ways of fasting other than giving up food.
Please see the attached document for details.
Ever Wish Your Child Came with an Instruction Manual?
Well, it may not be an instruction manual, but St Martin’s Bergvliet is offering the fun and practical ‘Parenting Course,’ beginning on 4 July (Saturday) and running for five weeks from 12h00-15h00. This course is for parents, stepparents, prospective parents, or carers of children between the ages 0-10. The cost is R100 to cover course material and refreshments.

What do St Andrews’ “Love Packs for Fikelela” and “Mandela Day 2015” have in common?
Are you thinking about how to give your 67 minutes of service on Mandela Day?
Well here’s an option – we have combined our July and August packing of Love Packs, which will now take place on Saturday 18 July 2015, which is Mandela Day. We would love to get a bumper turnout of ‘packers’ from our community and pack at least 300 food parcels. What better way to give your 67 minutes of service in memory of Nelson Mandela.
Please diarise the event (from 9:53am – 11:00) and let friends and family know. (It is the last weekend of the school holidays and so no school sport conflicts and hopefully families are mostly back in town by then!)
(for our regulars – packing on 4 July & 1 August is therefore replaced by this special pack)
