Lent Course 2020 – In Search of Belief
Tuesdays at 19:30 / Wednesdays at 10:45
Presenter: Archdeacon Mark Long
This Lent Course draws on the insightful writings of Sister Joan Chittister in her book In Search of Belief, which explores the Apostles Creed. In the foreword to this helpful book, Tom Roberts (then editor of the National Catholic Reporter) says, “We live in an age of expanding religion and a diminishing God … As always throughout history, when religion becomes passionate it drags its God along. … Joan Chittister … offers us the way to new eyes and new hearts when we pray, “I believe.””
Join our Rector, Mark, in an exploration of what it truly means to believe in God, in Jesus, in God’s Spirit, in our own time and context.
